Seventh: Have a Plan. You have a budget of both time and money. Even using the internet it would be very time consuming to, say, average a quality entry per day. Set aside a reasonable amount of time per week. That could be as little as a half an hour. Your own situation is unique so judge this one by feed back from family and friends. If they forget who you are, that's TOO much time! Eighth: Local and regional contests are great! This gets back to that odds of winning factor. Locally there will be fewer entries. These contests will be by TV and radio stations, drug stores, super markets, department stores, car dealers, gas stations and sports franchises to name a few. Ninth: Based on the odds of winning, look for contests offering the greatest number of prizes. The more prizes (or levels of prizes) being offered, the better your odds are of winning. Most folks only figure that the "Grand Prize" is what you want. That's ok, but would you really turn down a smaller pile of money?
Tenth: Many people have never heard about second chance drawings. Read the contest rules carefully, what do they say about unclaimed prizes. In some contests over half of the prizes are not awarded. As strange as it may sound this can include the grand prize. Contests that use game pieces have a fairly high rate of unclaimed prizes. Second chance drawings have better odds. They always work with a smaller pool of entrants. ![]() Eleventh: Did you ever get the advice to try for a scholarship that was related to a special group of people? It could have been age, ethnicity, siblings or work related. Well ... apply the same principal to contests. Find contests that limit (for whatever reasons) those who can enter. (P.S. you have got to qualify) The odds of winning do what? More Tips & Contest Entries: Page [ 1 ] [ 3 ] [ 4 ] Next Back More Great Net Offers
