Magazines, those weekly, monthly (or whatever) collections of up-to-date pages and sections of vital (entertaining?) information. It doesn't matter what your business or personal interests are, someone (or many someones) have a magazine that covers the subject. Magazines' main source of revenue is their advertising. So why do you have to pay from $2.00 to $20.00 an issue for these publications. The vendor who is selling you the magazine must be compensated and they are heavy and the shipping to get them to a mail box or vendor shelf is the biggest expense.
A magazine subscription is the first (and most popular) way to save money. What most people don't know is that many business related magazines rely on a large "free" subscription base. How FREE? They are part of a large group of magazines, television shows, and Web sites that focus on prenatal and family health, as well as baby's growth and development. They include features on beauty, relationships, work, and family finances.
Unless you are part of the media there are some magazines you can't get for free. For those, may we suggest Amazon.com Magazines or
Barnes and Noble Magazines. Your choice.
