Many search engines have made significant changes to their business model. Most offer "paid rapid inclusion". The prices listed below are based on using the SEs "Free" inclusion options. A minimum of 4 to 6 weeks will pass before the "free" inclusion is indexed. If desired "Paid Inclusion" can be added to the packages. Those fees are changing from engine to engine. The paid inclusions are also time limited and may need to be renwed every 6 to 12 months. Serious inquires only please and a list of SEs that will be "paid" must be indicated or discussed. A single insertion into more than 300 Internet Search Engines, Site Indexes and Directories (Site Type/Location May Restrict Number Of Engines). Due to the nature of search engines we do not recommend a single insertion protocol. If you have a serious web site... be serious about promoting it.

Two Insertions; Promotion: $75.00
Two insertions into more than 300 Internet Search Engines, Site Indexes and Directories – 1 month apart (Site Type/Location May Restrict Number Of Engines). Webpositon report 60 days after last burn in.

Six Month Promotion: $150.00
Six insertions into more than 750 Internet Search Engines, Site Indexes and Directories – 1 month apart (Site Type/Location May Restrict Number Of Engines). Two Webpositon reports during promotion. A third report 60 days following the promotion conclusion will give an indication of consitant ranking.

Twelve Month Promotion: $295.00

Site reviews are done at no charge. However, site reviews with written recommendation reports are $45.00. That $45.00 is applied to the site reconstruction fee if client proceeds with the reconstruction and/or promotion . Site reconstruction fees can only be quoted after a site review. On existing sites a pre-test should be done to determine the sites current SEs rank.

Other Comapanies Promise The Top Ten:
Very True. There are plenty of emails and web sites that promise just that. The question that seems to escape everyone is; What do these companies do after the tenth customer in any given field. Say they have ten resturants or ten jewelers, what happens when they take on the 11th client? Sustained guaranteed placement is a lie. If you put in enough weasel words you might find a way to live up to that promise to some customers, but even that is unlikely. Many search engines require you to BUY your way into the top ten positions. In truth there are only a handfull of SEs that really deliver the majority of the search engine traffic. The top search engines by rank can be found here, here and here. (Yes - different companies have different rankings for the same Search Engines ???)

What keyword is most popular? What potential customers are searching for is also very important. Having keywords that are never searched is not going to deliver traffic. Keyword ranking listed on Google: Lycos; Yahoo; and searchwords.com.

The companies that promise a Top Ten position do make it harder for those who offer clients legitimate help in popularizing their web sites to be taken seriously. Ever wonder why the FTC doesn't look into these "scams" - Ok, ridiculous claims? BTW; Big Hint; companies that don't use the company name (or provide simple contact methods) in their spam or web sites are really suspect.

Now might be a good time to mention it again. Search Engines like, Google and AltaVista are different and work differently than Directories like Yahoo! But many folks seem to lump them together. Getting listed in a Directory is done differently than a Search Engine.
